The CFS Advanced Certification focuses on food safety and sanitation with emphasis on leadership and processes that drive success across food manufacturing
Similar to what students experience in prerequisite sessions, the Advanced Certification session offers four days of hands-on, applicative learning taught by Commercial Food Sanitation’s industry-recognized subject matter experts. Participants work in small, competing groups that enable collaboration and learning from industry peers. An individual test is given at the end of training to ensure participants have achieved maximum proficiency on the training topics.
After successful completion of the Advanced Certification session—including the individual test—participants will be recognized with CFS Advanced Certification for Food Industry Leaders. Recertification is required every three years.
