With a background in design engineering, Roger first became involved in food protection and processing as an Account Manager for Intralox, advising meat-, poultry-, and seafood-processing customers on selecting conveyance solutions and services to ensure product quality and safety. Later, as a Food Safety Specialist at CFS, Roger combined a thorough knowledge of food processing machinery with extensive experience in food safety practices to assist customers in enhancing sanitation efficiency and meeting regulatory standards.
During his time at CFS, Roger supported customers across Europe and South Africa in various areas, including reducing sanitation downtime, optimizing cleaning sequences, analyzing sanitation programs for continuous improvement, reviewing equipment designs, developing SSOPs and related documentation, and providing sanitation and hygiene training.
Roger is currently transitioning back to a commercial role with Intralox, where he will focus on supporting customers in the bakery industry.
