Caitlin Guest joined CFS in 2025 as a Food Safety Specialist focusing on the Meat, Poultry and Seafood industries in North America.
Caitlin is an accomplished FSQA professional with extensive experience across multiple sectors of the food industry, including ready-to-eat products, meat, poultry, eggs, produce, and animal feed operations. She has a proven track record of implementing and managing robust food safety systems that enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and audit performance.
Caitlin began her career in the food industry in 2011, taking on key positions such as USDA and FSQA leadership roles in private-sector companies, where she developed and executed programs in regulatory compliance, environmental monitoring, and microbiological testing. Her leadership in cultivating a strong food safety culture has consistently delivered improvements in compliance, risk mitigation, and overall food safety standards.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary emphasis from California State University, Fresno, and is completing a master's degree in Management with a focus on Business Project Management from American Public University. Her certifications include CP-FS, FSVP, PCQI, SQF, and HACCP, underscoring her expertise and commitment to excellence in food safety.
