A commitment to developing hygiene professionals for the food industry through Sanitation Essentials Training


Commercial Food Sanitation, an Intralox company, is committed to developing hygiene professionals for the food industry. They believe that sanitation is integral for companies to achieve successful operations and food safety, and they therefore seek to foster excellence in this area.
Sanitation Essentials Training combines classroom sessions with hands-on team laboratory work that serve to reinforce learning experiences on specific, critical sanitation elements. Students will be tested to help ensure proficient competency in offered training topics. At the end of the 2.5 day training, successful completion will be recognised by certification.


Topics for Sanitation Essentials Training sessions include wet sanitation, dry sanitation, environmental monitoring, allergen validation/cleaning, developing written cleaning procedures, master sanitation schedules, evaluating equipment sanitary design, COP fundamentals, overview of CIP principles, managing the business of sanitation, and the importance of sanitation.


The courses are suitable for any professionals who need or desire to learn critical details about food sanitation and food safety.
The first European Sanitation Essentials Training will be hosted in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 7-9th October, 2014. Participation is limited to 24 students on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, six more training sessions will take place in New Orleans in 2014 – 13-15th May, 20-22nd May, 23-25th September, 7-9th October, 21-23rd October, and 11-13th November.
