Campden BRI Seminar: Listeria monocytogenes – a force to be reckoned with

This seminar is organised by Campden BRI in response to renewed focus on the threat of Listeria monocytogenes on food safety following recent events. L monocytogenes continues to be a headline-grabbing pathogen as it challenges our handling of both raw materials and factory sanitation. Evolving on an on-going basis, this pathogen maintains itself as a threat to food safety as it continues to test the ways we attempt to control it.
Targetting microbiologists, technical managers, retailers, hygiene supply companies, quality assurance staff and food safety managers, the seminar brings together and impressive list of industry speakers.
CFS Senior Food Safety Specialist, Dirk Nikoleiski, will cover root-cause investigation and data analysis through Listeria environmental monitoring, in the preventive battle against this pathogen. Additional speakers will cover “L. monocytogenes in frozen sweetcorn and other frozen fruit and vegetables”, “food safety and sandwiches”, “Whole Genome Sequencing to trace Listeria”, “dealing with Listeria biofilms in the food factory”, and “hygiene in food manufacturing establishments”.
